Our church was started in Boca Raton in 1999.Throughout my life, I have traveled to many places. I have been to places like Haiti – my home, New York – where I lived for a portion of my life, and here in Florida – where I now reside. I have seen many things. I have bared witness to the hardships people face everyday in their lives and I came to the decision that, something needed to be done.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”1_2″ _builder_version=”4.2.2″][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.2.2″]To bring about change, we, the community, needed to put our heads together. The journey to make it this far has not been easy, but it is worthwhile. We are a non-profit organization; our focus is not to judge but to help others. We acquired the 501 C3 and tax Exemption forms on March of 2000. Our Vision<\/h2>\n

In order to better serve and transform the community, our brothers and sisters need to be like \u2018light & salt\u2019. Metaphorically speaking, light is the opposite of darkness, it shows us the way. <\/span><\/p>\n

To further clarify this statement, we can look at this example, when one is lost in the dark; they seek for luminosity, a beacon to guide them back to reality. The unabridged dictionary defines light as \u2018something that makes things visible\u2019 and salt as \u2018an element that gives liveliness, piquancy, or pungency\u2019. For our purpose, we envision salt as a preserver. For instance, raw meat needs salt in order to not spoil, just like we need the Word of the Lord to preserve our souls as we wait for Judgement Day. <\/span><\/p>\n

People are often in the dark spiritually, and as servants of the Lord, we want to help broaden the horizon by spreading the light, to illuminate their way to the Lord.<\/span><\/p>\n
